I read this article, and here is what I think. Working in the field ministry myself, what we normally wrote down was not at homes, and return visits. Throughout this entire world, mailing list are compiled, I had one myself, well actually I still have it, the names of those people who had an interest in the products I sold, but beyond that, the names of corporations who manufactures and used the products I sold. I have half a dozen Rolodex filled with contacts I have collected over the years, and about a million business cards that I have collected. Lots of Governments conduct census. Like all Americans, my mailbox is stuffed with junk mail from mailing list someone put me on. Jehovah’s Witnesses as a rule do not collect names and addresses or phone numbers of people who are not at home, or that they casually meet in the cart ministry, or knocking on doors. And when I was active we never sent out unsolicited mail, as a community blanketing. Sure, we did send unsolicited mail to obituary responses, which is very distasteful in my opinion and I never did that nor did most witnesses that I knew. But I never suspected at any time the information was being collected about the public, other than, those made by direct contact, and even then, most times, the last names were not even asked for. But I never heard of the Witnesses having a data base of residents of any town. I do believe that a data base might have been and is being kept of those who have or are being studied with. I was a witness, I am not disfellowshiped, and throughout my years of being one, they didn’t even have my address or phone number. I don’t ever remember asking anyone for their phone number in the field ministry, except for those occasions where a bible study was conducted. I don’t believe that Jehovah’s Witness collect data on the general public, I am not buying it, but none the less, it will be a very dangerous time for all of us, when it actually becomes illegal and prosecutable to write down the names and addresses of people who occupy homes, and when compiling a mailing list is illegal, but I do think that day is coming. Of all of the things that the witnesses could be unquestionably guilty of, collecting population data would be the most innocuous, because even Albertsons has a mailing list, whether you shop with them or not. There is not a chance in hell that they are legally operating under the rules of a 503C corporation, the mere fact that they are a real estate empire, a publishing empire, and take contribution funds and invest in the stock markets into companies that are in the business of enterprises that are in direct conflict with all of their beliefs are reason enough to find them guilty of fraud of the 503C charter. How can anyone claim charitable status, while simultaneously investing contributions into the largest pornography distribution companies earth has ever seen, Microsoft Bing and Google, and in General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin, two companies who are actively engaged in killing all life on earth, and a global genocide of all humanity. How can a company claim charitable status, when they own 50% of the company that makes the engines for drones. I have said this before, as horrible as child abuse is, it pales in comparison to the destruction of all life on earth, raping a woman is horrible but killing her on top of that makes the crime much worse, but to this very day, I have not heard one single witness address these crimes of the witnesses, their entire focus is on child abuse and they completely ignore the participation of the genocide of all humanity by the very people who preach everlasting life at the doors.
