What the scriptures teach on this topic, is far more wonderful and wondrous then this false belief that everyone goes to heaven or hell when they die. The scriptures teach a resurrection during the one thousand year reign of Christ, that is when you will get your dead relatives back, that has not happened yet, we are living underneath the rulership of Satan right now, not Christ. The scriptures teach also that Christ is the only one who has died upon this earth, and been resurrected to a spiritual life in heaven. Think this false doctrine through , think people, think, learn to think and reason for yourself. This belief holds that our dead relatives go to heaven and watch over us. Really, Really, Really, what if they actually did. Here is that child, watching over their mother, dying in the hospital of cancer, and not be able to even talk with her, what a horrible, horrible thing to experience from a place that is supposed to be absolute bliss. Or that husband, watching over his wife and children, as they are slaughtered by MS-13 in the most horrible ways imaginable. Or that wife, watching over her husband, as he is decapitated in a freeway accident, now the children are motherless and fatherless, and she is tortured with the sight of this. Think people, think. The scriptures tell us that when we die, we return to the dust, but we remain in the memory of God, awaiting, not in life, but as the scriptures say, we become residents of the dust, for dust you are and to dust you will return. When Lazarus died, it brought tears to Jesus eyes, Lazarus was his friend. It hurt him, even though he knew that he was about to resurrect Lazarus back to life. His sister had faith, as she said that she clearly understood, that Lazarus would come back to life in the resurrection “ON THE LAST DAY” Christ thousand year reign, and 2 Peter 3:8 tells us this, ” However, let this one fact not be escaping your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. 9 Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. ” A day with God is a thousand years, in human terms, but we cannot hold God to human definition of time, but he speaks to us in ways we can relate to, and in ways we are familiar with, and are a part of our cultural relations, in other words, he doesn’t speak to us in ways that we cannot comprehend, although his ways are often incomprehensible from a human standpoint. An example of this can be found in the first five books of the Bible where God dealt with man the way that man dealt with man, on their terms, in ways they could comprehend. You make sacrifices, ok, here is how I want it done, you want war, ok, here is how we will wage war, you want to fight against me, ok, bring it, and see how I deal with it, you want to sacrifice your children, ok, I am the one who gave them life in the first place, I can also take it back. Reading the Torah can lead us to an incomprehensible view of God, his love, and his mercy, and his forgiveness, until we understand that he was dealing with man, the way that man understood, and how man was dealing with man in those times. When Christ resurrected Lazarus he said this, ” Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which ALL of those in the memorial tombs ( the graves ) will hear my voice and come out. ” Remember he said out loud, “Lazarus come out” . Some day, all of those people who have died, will hear Jesus say, “Come out” and they will all rise from the dead, just like Lazarus did. If Lazarus was already in heaven, what justice would Christ have served by returning him to earth. If when people die, they go to heaven or to hell, their can be no resurrection, because they are not dead, and the Bible is very clear, it is possible for people to die, it is Satan that teaches that death is impossible, not God. Remember, at the Garden of Eden, God told Adam, “in the day you eat from the tree which I gave you a command not to, you will positively die” Satan came along and said, ” You positively will not die” and the Churches of Satan have been teaching this lie ever since, you will go to heaven, or you will go to hell, you will transmigrate to some other life form and work your way back up the evolutionary ladder, you will do anything but die, meanwhile we keep filling up the grave yards with our dead relatives. Your relatives are exactly where God said they would be, asleep in the grave, until he awakens them, they are not in heaven, they are not in hell, they await a resurrection back to life right here on this earth like God promised, you for your part, be there to welcome them back.
